Lauren Rouse is an illustrator, animator, and museum educator working in PhotochopCC, as well as traditional mediums such as acrylic, watercolour, polymer clay, oil based clays & fabrication. Her focus is fantasy and wildlife art.
Since March 2022 she has recently started a small business, creating acrylic charms, wooden pins, vinyl stickers, and more. Selling on Etsy and tabling at craft markets around the country. Currently, the shop is on hiatus.
Her hobbies outside of art include natural history, traveling, wildlife photography, cooking, house plants, and gardening.
She recently started a CIC (Community Interest Company) in outreach museum education, called 'The Skull Index', both an online database of skulls of vertebrate specimens and starting in-person outreach talks at schools, events and community centres.
